Skirt Steak (Caveman Style), Veggies, and Corn

So, I saw this show an Food Network, and they cooked the Skirt Steak “Caveman Style” – another words – I cooked the steaks directly on the coals. I used Apple wood wood chunks – and burned them down to the coals. I cooked them for a very short time, flipped them, and wrapped them in foil and let them rest. We sliced the Skirt Steak against the grain – so that it was not tough to eat.

Then, we (me and Jesse) cut up Veggies (potatoes, mushrooms, onions, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, broccoli, and zucchini), and Corn on the cob.

I added some butter and some Montreal Steak Seasoning and wrapped them tightly.

Here is the final picture – with everything plated – except for the veggies that I don’t like, lol.

It was a very good meal – everyone enjoyed it very much. The steak was tender – and the veggies were absolutely amazing!
