Homemade Hot Wings

As I learn more about this Air Fryer, I like it more and more. Tonight, for the “FRYDAY” – I decided to make some Hot Wings in the Air Fryer – and they were amazing.

I started with mixing my ingredients for the batter – 2 eggs, Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, Crushed Red Peppers, Black Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper – then wicked them together.

Then I took 3 1/2 pounds of fresh Chicken Wings, rinsed them with cold water, then dipped them in the batter, then put them in a tub with flour, and shook it real good. Then I put as many wings as possible (about 12) in the basket of the Air Fryer. I fried them at 400 degrees for 20 minutes – stopping half way through to shake them.

After 20 minutes, I removed the Hot Wings from the Air Fryer and put them on a plate – some of the Hot Wings were served dry:

And some were served “wet” – after being tossed in some Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce.

Whether you like your Hot Wings Wet or Dry – these Hot Wings were the Bomb! For a final thought – the Hot Wings served Dry were mildly hot – while the Hot Wings tossed in the Buffalo Sauce were much hotter.

The more that I use this Hot Air Fryer – the more I like it!
